PAVEL AND EVGENIYA'S WEDDING

I still remember the excitement we all felt on the day of Pasha and Zhenya’s wedding.
The date was set for September 2nd — and September in Montenegro usually means perfect weather, warm sea and clear skies. Nothing predicted any trouble, yet on the night of September 1st the weather suddenly changed — hurricane-level winds, thunderstorms and nonstop rain.

The forecast promised nothing good for the coming week, so postponing the wedding made no sense. All we could do that day was keep believing — and that’s exactly what we did.
And then a miracle happened: the rain stopped. (Well, it rained for about 15 minutes after the ceremony, but that was not scary at all.)
We were even blessed with sunshine. Our guardian angel was with us once again that day.

The bride’s morning preparations took place at the boutique hotel Per Astra, with a stunning view of the Bay of Kotor.

Zhenya is the very embodiment of sophistication, grace and femininity.

The nature of Montenegro is amazing and sometimes there are not enough words to describe the beauty it creates.

The majestic staircase of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary symbolizes a new stage in their lives.

The bridal bouquet certainly deserves special attention.
For it, we chose only the softest flowers in pastel shades — English roses, peonies, astilbe, alstroemeria, ivy, and eucalyptus branches.
We weren’t trying to make it “perfect”; on the contrary, we wanted to highlight its natural, airy beauty.
To me, it reflects Zhenya completely — delicate, gentle, and fragile.

The bridesmaids successfully complemented our color scheme, and their bouquets perfectly complemented their look.

Two little angels are our most important and responsible helpers.

At the ceremony site, guests were welcomed by live music, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere.
The playlist for the musicians had been prepared in advance, and Pasha even arranged a special surprise for Zhenya — after the ceremony, the musicians played her favorite song by Okean Elzy, “Taka yak ty.”

The ceremony décor turned out exactly as planned — soft, romantic and deeply touching: white chairs, hanging jars and bottles filled with flowers, lanterns, rose petals in cones monogrammed with P&E, and of course, the stationery the couple designed themselves. Each guest had a program placed on their chair, and the parents’ seats were marked with the heartwarming phrase Reserved for family

Perhaps these moments are the most touching and exciting. Every girl dreams of this moment – walking to her beloved along a path strewn with rose petals.

Three zones were created to entertain the guests. A decorated photo zone, where each guest could take a souvenir photo with all sorts of paraphernalia; a Polaroid camera zone, where each guest could take a photo of themselves and leave it as a souvenir for Pasha and Zhenya; and a "guest book" zone.

And here it is — the most long-awaited moment.
A heartfelt ceremony under the wide, sprawling tree, something we had been preparing for with such care.
Tender promises made in the presence of their closest family and friends on the shore of the bay — what could be more beautiful…

We had no doubts when choosing the “guest book.” The sprawling tree became the centerpiece of the entire ceremony — a symbol of their new family. Each guest happily left their own “leaf” as a keepsake of this unforgettable day.

Table arrangements and guest seating were planned in advance. Upon entering, each guest found their name on a special tag on their wine glass, along with their table number. Table numbers, in turn, were indicated on the wine bottles.

In the end I can't help but share with you a series of film photos from my walk. Looking at them is a real pleasure.

Each guest’s place setting was complemented with a name card, a menu, and a small delicious gift from the couple — local Krstac wine and cheese.

И, конечно, какая же свадьба без торта! Этот вкуснейший бисквитный торт с кремом из взбитых сливок стал сладким завершением свадебного дня нашей прекрасной пары.
